What is an online marijuana addiction program?

An online marijuana addiction program gives you structured support to cut back on cannabis without going to rehab. At EntheaCare, a registered nurse meets with you every week for six weeks, uses microdosing as a tool to ease cravings, and helps you build mindfulness habits that last.

It’s nurse-led coaching, not a medical detox or residential rehab. If you need a higher level of care, your nurse will help you find it.

When cannabis becomes a crutch

This program is for you if:

  • You feel like you need cannabis just to feel normal
  • Your tolerance keeps climbing
  • Heavy use is feeding anxiety or low mood
  • You crave it more than it actually helps
  • Tolerance breaks never seem to stick

This program isn’t right for everyone

Because the program uses microdosing, your nurse screens carefully, and may advise against starting, if you:

  • Need medical support to stop using safely
  • Take lithium or other psychiatric medication
  • Have a personal or family history of psychosis or bipolar disorder
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Have a heart condition

The science of cutting back

Why cutting back is hard, and why your body is ready to rebalance.

Your endocannabinoid system

It helps regulate mood, sleep, appetite and stress. It’s your body’s built-in balance system.

What heavy use does

Regular heavy cannabis use reduces your CB1 receptors, so you need more to feel the same, and mood can suffer over time.

The good news

Research suggests CB1 receptors start to recover within days of cutting back. Your brain wants to rebalance.

Your 6-week program

Microdosing is a tool, not a replacement habit. Each phase builds on the last.

  1. Weeks 1–2

    Awareness

Begin microdosing with your nurse’s guidance, track your use and spot your personal triggers.

  2. Weeks 3–4

    Cravings and mindfulness

Practice breathwork, grounding and somatic tools, and start reducing how often you use.

  3. Weeks 5–6

    Integration and new habits

Lock in new routines and leave with a plan that lasts beyond the six weeks.

Two ways to join

Same 6-week program, same nurses. Choose private sessions or a small group on your call.

Online marijuana addiction program FAQs

Still have questions? Your call with a nurse is the place to ask them.

Is this a rehab or detox program?

No. This is online, nurse-led coaching. It isn’t a medical detox or a residential rehab program. If you need medical support for withdrawal, your nurse will help you find the right level of care.

Is there marijuana addiction help near me?

Our program is fully online, so you can get nurse-led support from home. All you need is a private space and an internet connection.

Do I have to quit cannabis completely?

Not necessarily. The program focuses on cutting back, not always cutting out. You and your nurse set the goal that’s right for you.

How does microdosing help me cut back?

Small, sub-perceptual doses of psilocybin are used as a tool to ease cravings while your receptors recover. It’s paired with mindfulness and habit work, so microdosing doesn’t become a replacement habit.

What about withdrawal symptoms?

Cutting back can bring irritability, poor sleep, vivid dreams or a low appetite for a while. Your nurse helps you plan for these and checks in with you every week.

One on one or group: which is better?

One on one starts any time and is built around you. The small group starts on set dates and adds the support of others doing the same work. Your nurse can help you choose on your call.

Can I join if I take medication?

Your nurse runs a medication interaction check on your first call. Never stop or change a prescription without talking to your prescriber.

Is psilocybin legal where I live?

Psilocybin is illegal under U.S. federal law. A few states and cities have decriminalized or regulated it. Your nurse will talk through what applies where you live.
